51st Fitchburg Longsjo Classic

The 50th Fitchburg Longsjo Classic is just around the corner, and we know that the racing is going to be even more exciting and competitive, and that our 50th celebrations are going to add to the experience of everyone involved.
We also realized that with the economic situation being what it is, we needed to step up our incentives a bit to make it easier for the top teams to race with us. We have enhanced our Pro-Team discount for 2009, and a few of the details are listed here:

Register 5 riders by May 25th and get three free
Register 6 riders by May 25th and get two free
Register as a team on BikeReg, and we’ll create the manual entries for you!
Professional Teams
Additional Information
We are putting into place a few changes that will improve the racing experience for everyone, especially the professional teams.

We are working to change the TT start times of the professional men and women to earlier in the day, further improving traffic patterns.

We are in talks with the towns involved in the road race to allow for total rolling enclosure for the pro men and women.

We are hoping to create designated pro team parking areas which will create an “Athlete Village” atmosphere for spectators.

We have successfully negotiated a significantly lower rate at our newly remodeled host hotel, the Courtyard by Marriott, Fitchburg. If you stay Thursday through Sunday, the rate is $89 per night. Contact the hotel directly to obtain this rate. (978) 342-7100
